Will I be fully qualified?

All our accredited courses are fully accredited by ABT, meaning you will be fully qualified and can obtain insurance to work on real clients. Our nail art courses and add-on workshops can be added once you are qualified and you will receive a certificate of completion.

Please note: You must hold a Gel Polish qualification to do this course. 

Our Gel Nail Extensions Course in Shropshire is the perfect course so you can complete a full set of enhancements or fix any shorter/broken nails when applying a gel overlay. Once you have completed the course, you will be able to offer Gel Nail Extensions using plastic tips with hard gel and builder gel in a bottle. Fully accredited by ABT so you can gain insurance to work on real clients straight away. This course is a full day (Up to 6 hours) and you will learn everything you need, including:

What to expect on the day:
Starting with the theory, you will then be assessed on your knowledge throughout the course. After watching practical demonstrations, you will work on your model to complete a full set of gel nail extensions using plastic tips, forms, gel pot and builder gel. You will then need to complete a final theory assessment and two case studies at home to complete your training.

What you will need:
All equipment is provided on the day, so all you need to bring is yourself and a model with bare fingernails. You may also wish to bring a packed lunch and plenty of water, along with a notebook and pen to make notes.

Pre-requisites: You must hold a basic manicure and gel polish qualification or equivalent in order to take this course.

What do I need to bring to my course?

Everything you need to bring will be listed in your course confirmation email as this will differ depending on the course. Most courses require you to bring a model with you (Except nail art courses). All equipment you will need on the day will be provided, so you don't need to worry about buying your kit before your course.

We do provide a selection of hot drinks and cold drinks. Some of our courses are full days so we recommend you bring lunch with you or you can visit the local shop.

How many people will I be training with?

If you choose the group training option, you will be in a class of up to 5 people. If you would prefer to learn on a 1:1 basis, options for this are available too.

Where is the training held?

Our training academy is based at 51 Racecourse Crescent, Monkmoor, Shrewsbury, SY25BW.

How will my training day run?

The day will consist of a mixture of theory, live demonstrations and practical tasks. Each treatment will be broken down into simple steps to watch and repeat. You will also have chance to meet fellow Blossom Academy students and ask your educator anything you need to know.

How old do I need to be to train with Blossom Academy?

You need to be 18 years old to train with Blossom Academy due to insurance.

What support will I receive?

You will have continued support both during and after your course from the team at Blossom Academy and you will also be added to a private Facebook community so you can connect with other Blossom Academy members.

Where do I get my products from?

You will be able to purchase professional products after your course day with your accredited certificate.

You can choose whichever brand you prefer to work with but we personally recommend The Gel Bottle. You can set up a professional account with them and send your booking confirmation as proof you are training.

What career opportunities are there?

Once you have qualified, you can either work in a salon or work for yourself as a freelance beautician. Our accredited courses allow you to obtain insurance to work on real clients.

Do you offer in salon training?

Can courses be refunded?

Courses are non-refundable as stated in our Terms & Conditions. If you need to reschedule your course, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to accommodate this. Please note, at least 2 weeks notice is required for rescheduling.
