September is here which means getting cosy and Halloween, of course! As the spooky season approaches, it’s the perfect time to explore some fun halloween nail designs that will wow your clients and showcase your nail art skills.
Whether you’re a seasoned nail technician or just starting out, these Halloween-themed designs will inspire you to get into the spirit of the season. Let’s get those spooky nails ready!
Below are a few of my favourite designs, all created by some of my incredible past students.
1. Blood Drippings Nail Art
It’s time to give your clients a bold look: a Red tip, with a feature nail made up of blood drips. The contrast of a soft Pink base with dramatic Red drips makes for an eye-catching and spooky design that’s perfect for the season. It’s still subtle as only one nail has been enhanced with drip!
How-To:
Prep Your Nails: Start by preparing your nails with an EFile for a perfect base. Check out the MUSE EFile for amazing results.
Apply a Pink base coat to all nails. On one accent nail, use a Red nail polish to create blood Red drips from the cuticle downward. Paint Red tips on the other nails. If you’d like to make this even more bold, why not swap the Pink base for Black nails. Seal with a top coat for a glossy finish.

2. Ghosts and White Tips
This playful take on classic French tips, features a pale Pink base with crisp White tips and adorable ghost accents. It’s a charming choice for those who want to celebrate Halloween with a touch of whimsy.
How-To:
Prep Your Nails: Again, we recommend prepping the nails with an EFile to ensure a clean foundation.
Apply a pale Pink base coat. Paint White tips on each nail. On the accent nail, create small White ghosts with tiny Black eyes and mouths using a fine brush. Finish with a clear top coat.

3. Dark Blood Mist with Silver Embellishments
For dramatic and darker Halloween nail art, try the dark blood mist design. The gradient of Red and Black with Silver embellishments creates a striking and luxurious effect.
How-To:
Prep Your Nails: Use an EFile to get your nails ready for the design.
Apply a Black base coat. Use a sponge to dab on a gradient of Red polish, with darker Red at the edges and brighter Red in the centre. Add silver metallic embellishments for a touch of sparkle. Seal with a top coat.
